Avgvstvs is a small family run wine cellar situated between Tarragona (the ancient Roman capital of Spain) and Barcelona, overlooking the sea in the DO Penedès. This winery is situated on the coast along the old Roman road "Via Augusta" hence the Roman element in the naming of the wines. This used to be the main road for Roman legions to travel from Rome to Tarragona.
